Shelly Mount

My name is Shelly Mount. I have been a California girl all my life. I have been married for 29 years and I am a mama to 3 boys/men and one daughter-in-love. My passion for dance began many years ago when I took dance classes as a child and then continued into cheerleading in middle and high school. About 15 years ago I found Zumba through my local gym and fell in love! It was a workout…but didn’t feel like any workout I had ever done. It was fun!! It also helped me deal with some trauma from my childhood and released my anxiety. It brought me a sense of peace.

I still enjoy Zumba years later and helping others, going through difficult times, leave the cares of the world for a while and focus on something fun, and healthy. I volunteer because I have a passion for dance and for helping others. I love to see the joy on peoples faces as they EMERGE with HOPE!
